Rules:
- Registration for a session opens 2 hours before start time.
- If you are blocked from registration, contact the club.
- If you are looking for a partner, add your name to the tournament partnership desk on BBO.
- Please discuss your convention with your partner before hand. It is always polite to write down what you are playing on the table for your opponents. For e.g. 2/1 udca, sayc, acol, etc.
- On the table no rudeness shall be tolerated.
- You shall not be allowed to UNDO your bid.
- Use the alert button, or click on your bid to explain it where need be. This should be done along side your bid and not after and this should not be explained on the table chat.
- Make sure you have stable internet. Or otherwise use Mobile data. This shall avoid requests to be put back on.
- If you feel like players are taking too long, it could be because your internet is slow. To check, message something on the table. If it goes through, you are ok. If not, immediately log out and in again.
- Most importantly, make your partner feel you are smiling at him/her virtually. 😊
FAILING TO REGISTER FOR SEEDING
Effective immediately, if a pair fails to pay at the registration desk and/or fails to register at the seeding desk, then the following will apply:
- The pair will be asked to pay for the registration fees
- The pair will play in the lowest section
- If that pair ranks in the top 3:
- they will not be able to claim FOC
- If it is a tournament – they will not be eligible for a prize
