CLASS BY LEILA JINNAH – TUESDAY 16TH FEBRUARY 2016
On Tuesday 16 February 2016, Nairobi Bridge Club welcomed Leila Jinnah, an ACBL certified bridge teacher who is visiting Kenya from Vancouver. Leila has been playing bridge since her college days, and teaches bridge as a voluntary activity now that she is retired from a career as a lawyer.
She gave the group of forty members an introduction to the different types of doubles, splinter bids, and RKCB. She conveyed the concepts in an insightful manner, and answered questions, and created a friendly learning environment. More importantly, she conveyed her love and respect for the game of bridge, and encouraged us to continue improving our game.
Our sincere thanks go out to Leila for providing invaluable learning which will benefit all of us.
